GAA Design were presented with a series of constraints for the site, the most challenging being the retention of the existing plant on the first floor, which belonged to the ground floor tenant, Iceland.
Several schemes had been considered by the planners and had failed to convince the Local Authority that a scheme was achievable. GAA Design liaised closely with the planners and the environmental health officers to come up with a larger scheme and overcome the constraints and achieve a consent for 14 apartments. The scheme is due to go to site in the third quarter of 2018.
