Dael Behagg's Profile

Dael Behagg

Architectural Assistant

BA Hons, Diparch, (studying for part 3 now)

Experienced Architect’s Assistant, with 7 years of extensive work around the globe in places such as Singapore, Indonesia, The Bahamas, Nepal, Russia, India and London.I have been involved in designing large and small-scale residential, commercial and mixed use buildings and have spent the majority of my time doing residential layouts and design schemes, including master planning and submitting projects to planning authorities.

One of my skills is working with architecture of rapid change and scarce resources. This has taught me to be flexible and adaptable to changing environments and cultures and has profoundly shaped the way I approach design and architecture.

Councils I have worked in are: Bromley, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Kings Langley Parish, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Westminster.

My favourite building is the 2011, Hortus Conclusus Serpentine Pavillion in Hyde Park, designed by Peter Zumthor. Although it was a temporary structure, it served as an example of staying and preserving the thingliness of the thing, which inspires all of my work since.
